It's Mindi here with you today. I am so excited to share with you a Life Documented Project using the wonderful Homespun and Petaloo products. It was the perfect match-up of colors and products to document a regular week in our lives.
Here is my 2 page spread.
I used the empty space on my photo to add some embellishments. I really had fun layering some of the Petaloo flowers along with some Homespun Bits and Pieces.
Here are some more close ups. I love how all of the colors compliment each other.
I added some lovely Petaloo ribbon as a border for the top of my photo. Also used the one of the new Photo Overlays.
The cute flower pot was perfect for one of journaling cards to go along with my flower story. I added one of the Petaloo flowers to the top to add some great texture and dimension.
I love how fun these Sn@p Cuts are ! I placed some patterened paper behind the cut, each letter having a different patterned paper. Also added a sticker and another embellishment.
Thanks for coming by !

WOW - I really LOVE your pocket pages Mindi!!
The colours of Homespun & Petaloo flowers go perfectly together with your cute photos!!!
It looks great how you have decorated outsdie of the pockets and very clever to embellish over the empty spaces on the photos - thank you for that top tip. I do have to ask how you got the flowers & embellishments to adhere to the plastic of the pockets, did you initially use stickers then adhere to the stickers?
Also love how you inserted different papers behind each letter of your SN@P Cuts!!!
THANK YOU for the fun & fabulous inspiration :)

I hadn't seen the Snapcuts before; what a very cool product! I love your idea of using the embellishments on the outside of the pockets, so clever. Thanks for sharing this great project!

I would love this kind of scrapbooking. Decorating small snippets of space is so much easier than trying to make a whole page look cohesive and fantastic.

Hello there ! I just wanted to clarify one thing. I only took the photos/cards/embellishments out of the pockets to photograph them. That way you could see them better. Of course, you can always embellish the outside of the pocket. But I would imagine that after time they would get damaged. All my photos are now back in their comfy, cozy pockets for safe keeping !

I never would have thought to put the flower or the ribbon on top of the page protector, what a cool idea. Or maybe they aren't hard to tell in the pictures LOL Either way they look great!
