Hi everyone! Teri here today, and I'm excited to show you the album I will be documenting December's happenings in this year. I'm using one of our black SN@P! binders, along with the Christmas SN@P! set!
Confession time. I always have such good intentions when it comes to documenting December, but those intentions haven't yet resulted in a finished December album. I've compiled the supplies each year for the last couple years to make one, but I have never quite sealed the deal with a completed album.
So I'm declaring this year as the year it will happen! I'm off to a good start as this is the first year I've actually sat down and made an album so all I will really need to do is add pictures, memorabilia and trinkets to it during the month! (Go, me!)
I really wanted to alter the album's cover so I used a piercing tool to poke two holes through the cover and then ran twine through it so I could hang Christmas-related things off it. The bulbs, mittens and candy cane are all stickers from the Christmas SN@P! set!
To give the bulbs a little extra depth, I hung them from the twine with thin wire. And to give them even more depth, I placed some foam tape right under the bulbs.
I really wanted my album to have a homespun feel so I pulled out a number of the Christmas SN@P! set 3X4 cards and embellished them up. I added buttons to trees and snowflakes, wiggle eyes to snowman and penguins, sequins to holly and bows to bulbs, hearts and stockings!
The cool thing about the SN@P! Cards is they are just so fun! But add a few extra embellishments to them and they get even cuter!
Once I altered my SN@P! Cards, I started making the album.
No album is complete without a title page so I typed a few words on one of the album's insert pages and then added a favorite SN@P! Card to it.
Each page in my album features the SN@P! Cards in some way.
I left some of the cards blank and pockets empty so there was room to add a good mix of different sized photos in my album.
I dumped some sequins into one of the pockets on this page. I used my sewing machine to stitch it up right on top so the sequins wouldn't fall out. If you try this at home, make sure you sew slowly and that you use a card with a design that works well with the stitching that shows on the backside of the page.
One of my favorite things to do is add stickers to Simple Stories' Pocket Pages themselves so I did that a few times here. When I add pictures to my album, I may decide to slide some into the stickered pockets so the result will be similiar to that of a printed overlay.
Besides pictures, my album also includes space for memorabilia and trinkets.
I included a SN@P! Pocket on this page for receipts. I'm planning on saving a few from my holiday shopping trips this year.
And I turned the album's dividers into sections in the back of my album for cards, notes, recipes and other memorabilia collected during the month.
I hope you liked looking at my album! Looking forward to December and being able to fill it up more!
And hey, if you've created a December Daily (or similar) album using one of our SN@P! Binders, we'd love to see it and add it to our Pinterest "December Daily with Simple Stories" board! Link me up to your album in the comments!

Teri - you did a fantastic job!! This is so delightful. You are so clever to think of embellishing those cards. That's one of the best things I've seen in a long, long time!
