Today I'm happy to introduce a new monthly blog feature called Fan Focus Friday!
We have so many great Simple Stories fans out there that we thought it would be fun to showcase some the work shared with us.
So, here goes!
Let me introduce you to Jodi Baune -
Jodi is on the design team for My Creative Scrapbook. She's been sharing her work with us by posting projects using our collections on our Simple Stories Facebook page and we've loved it! Incidentally, we LOVE it when you guys share your creations with us over there :) Hint Hint!!
Here are some of the great projects she's created using our I Heart Summer collection -
How perfect is that anchor with the photo of her son in his navy suit?! Jodi added Glossy Accents to the hearts to make them pop!
On these next 2 layouts, she used modeling paste and a stencil to add fun texture. You really notice how it stands out on the 2nd layout against the red background. Pretty cool, eh?!
Did you notice how Jodi used some string to create a fishing line on this layout and then added the fish to it? So fun!

Fabulous layouts. I especially love the layout with her son in his uniform. (She doesn't look old enough to have a son that age. Wow.) Moving on, lol I like that she used the newspaper text background. Very effective.

That's the kind of image that i really thing is super image like. If more images very real like this were out there we'd be super full of graet images in the world.
