Hello friends!
Welcome to Simple Stories CHA Summer Sneak Peek Week - Day 3!
Layle back at it again with you today for Day 3, and we're still going strong. According to all of the great comments we're reading on the posts this week, you guys are still going strong as well!! We love hearing from you, so keep it up!
If you're just joining us today, make sure to head over to our Day 1 Reveal of Say Cheese here and our Day 2 Reveal of Smarty Pants here. While you're there, tell us what you think of the new collections in the comment section for a chance to win some great prizes!
Believe it or not, we have PLENTY more to share with you the rest of the week - a new suite of products called SN@P! Sets in 8 themes that will make you positively GIDDY!
And of course, what would a sneak peek week be without a chance to win December Documented before you can buy it? More about THAT at the end of the post ;)
Speaking of when you can buy it - we'll be shipping to retailers in early August, so you won't have to wait long to get your hands on the new Simple Stories goodness!
Next up, let me introduce you to December Documented!
Simple
Stories holiday collections are a favorite with scrapbookers near and far, and
this year's December Documented collection is sure to be the new
favorite! The 'holiday-inspired' extension of our Life Documented philsophy
for sharing your memories in a quick, simple and meaningful way - December
Documented is perfect for documenting your holiday memories this season.
Did you SEE all of those chalkboard accents?! SWOON! Do LOVE all of those chalkboard accents? What? You say you need more? Well then, here you go!
Great paper patterns, right?! How about a quick break to see what two of our design team members did with December Documented?
First up is Vicki Boutin. LOVE her cluster of embellishments in the lower right corner and how she used 2 brads to tie bakers twine together, almost like the bow on the top of a package!
Next up is Tonya Dirk documenting the mischievous antics of her Elf on the Shelf and one of my favorite papers in the collection, Hello December!
When it comes down to the age old question 'have you been naughty or nice?', there's no question that are designers have been NICE! when it comes to those 4x6 cards - perfect for Life Documented/divided page protector scrapbooking! They're great for other things as well, like this darling tag book created by Emily Lanham. I love that Peace, Love, Joy card peeking through!
Phew! All of that oggling is hard work! How about another quick break for a bit more design team project inspiration?
Rebecca Koeppel incorporated ribbon onto her cheery holiday card and attached it with a brad - another nod to a christmas package!
Shellye McDaniel used the brads to attach the chipboard snowflakes to her card - so clever!
Putting together a mini book documenting your December is so fun and EASY with our SN@P! Binders, Pages, Pockets and SN@P! 3x4 & 4x6 cards!
How about those awesome 3x4 numbered SN@P! cards?! Pretty cool, eh?
So there you have it, our day 3 reveal - December Documented!! So tell me, even though we're in the dead heat of summer, are you anxiously awaiting the cold weather and the holidays when you can hole up inside the house scrapbooking and put this gem of a collection to use? ;)
Sound off in the comments section below and let us know what it is about December Documented that has you feeling like a little kid on Christmas Eve and you'll be entered to win one of 2 December Documented goodie packs! We'll leave comments open until July 30th and announce the random lucky winners on July 31st.
Good luck!
We hope you're as excited as we are with the first 3 collections we've shared so far! Remember, that's not all friends; today is only hump day - there are 2 more days to go of sneak peeks. Trust me when I say you're in for a treat tomorrow - I'll be sharing my most favorite of our new products yet!
Until tomorrow...

Ohhh.... love it!! How easy it makes "catching" up from last year's holiday and getting prepped for this year's Daily Dec. I can't decide which I like more - the stickers or the paper... I love the combination of colors that are more traditional and not pastel which seems to be the current trend. Since I dress my kids in traditional colors for the holiday events - this collection is perfect!
