Hello friends!
Welcome to Simple Stories CHA Summer Sneak Peek Week - Day 2!
Layle back at it again with you today. Wow, we're so excited that you're so excited about our Say Cheese collection revealed yesterday! If you missed it, hop on over here. While you're there, tell us what you think of Say Cheese in the comment section for a chance to win one of 2 great prizes!
We have TONS more to share with you this week, including 2 more brand new collections and a new suite of products called SN@P! Sets in 8 themes that will make you positively GIDDY!
And of course, what would a sneak peek week be without a chance to win Smarty Pants before you can buy it? More about THAT at the end of the post ;)
Speaking of when you can buy it - we'll be shipping to retailers in early August, so you won't have to wait long to get your hands on the new Simple Stories goodness!
Today, I'm happy to share our 2nd new collection, Smarty Pants!
Whether your student is in pre-K or college, Smarty Pants
is the brightest new collection for documenting those brainiacs in your
life. Complete with bookish blues, radiant reds, yummy yellows and
graphic greens, Smarty Pants is your go to collection for making the
grade!
See those SCHOOL letters at the top of the Fundamentals Cardstock Stickers? Take a looksie at what Tonya Dirk did with them - attached them to the tops of #2 pencils as part of a fun 'back to school' teacher gift!
You're going to LOVE the Chipboard! Between the sneaker, the school
bus, the school crossing sign, the milk carton, the composition
book.... sigh.... I could go on and on!
Before I dive into the super fun papers in this collection, how about a look at what two of our design team members did with Smarty Pants?
How awesome is this layout Cari Locken created? That blue background is one of the Smarty Pants Basics - composition book pattern. Isn't it fun?!
And the title work on this layout by Kelly Goree, with the two apples replacing the 'o's in school - how stinkin' clever is that?!
Don't you just LOVE this darling schoolbus mini album Liz Qualman created using a Maya Road chipboard album and bits & pieces of Smarty Pants? I think Liz deserves a gold star, don't you?!
Our 'tried and true' Smarty Pants Signature Elements below won't disappoint! Designed for quick and easy scrapbooking, simply trim, insert in our Pocket Pages, add photos and journaling and you're done!
But wait! Those Elements aren't only for Pocket Page scrapbooking. No siree! Look what Guiseppa Gubler did with a 12x12 piece of paper & few of those Elements -
Here are those Basics I mentioned earlier - the fronts all have the composition book pattern, while the backs have different types of notebook/office pattern. Super versatile!
As with all of the Simple Stories collections, the Smarty Pants products are designed
to coordinate with our SN@P! Binders, 12x12 and 6x8 leather albums and
Pocket Pages.
Our SN@P! Pockets are perfect for including report cards, notes from teachers, ticket stubs, etc in your school albums. Designed in 6x8, 4x6, and 3x4 sizes, simply slip in our Pocket Pages, add your mementos and call it good :)
Once again, our designers deserve a gold star with this collection, especially when it comes to the 3x4 & 4x6 SN@P! Cards below! Click on the image for a better look. It's so hard for me to pick a favorite, but if I had to, it would be the 'THE BUS IS COMING" card in the top row - I just love it!!
Alrighty! So there you have it - our day 2 reveal, with Smarty Pants. What's YOUR favorite? Is it one of the fun SN@P? Cards, the composition pattern Basics, the Chipboard?
Sound off in the comments below to let us know your favorite and you'll be entered to win one of 2 Smarty Pants goodie packs! We'll leave comments open until July 30th and announce the random lucky winners on July 31st.
Good luck!
We hope you're as excited as we are with our new Smarty Pants collection! Remember, that's not all friends - today is just day 2 of 5 full days of sneak peeks; I'll meet you back here again tomorrow for Sneak Peek #3!
