Hello Simple Stories fans! Layle Koncar here; I'm the 'new since April 1st' Marketing Director here at Simple Stories :) It's been an exciting, busy time since I started - these past 2 months have literally flown by at lightning speed, and I LOVE IT!
Boy do we have some fun things in store for you this month! Every day throughout the entire month of June, here on the blog and on our Facebook page, we'll be introducing and focusing on a brand new philosphy we call Life Documented.
So let's dig in, shall we?
Anyone out there remember this little gem?
This was the first Simple Stories collection, Life Documented, introduced WAY BACK in 2009. The vision Simple Stories owner Amber Crowell had when starting the company and creating this initial collection was to create products that enable crafters to share their memories in a QUICK, SIMPLE and MEANINGFUL way.
You see, Amber is just like the rest of us. A BUSY mom, wife, sister, business owner, friend, aunt, (insert your own noun here!) - someone with more to do than hours in the day. She's been a scrapbooker for as long as she can remember. Truth is - she developed the Simple Stories company and products to help herself; she was tired of feeling guilty about having halfway completed pages and albums, and boxes full of unscrapped photos.
Does this ring a bell with you?! I know it does with me ;)
When Amber really sat down and started thinking about it, she realized her family was just as happy flipping through albums with photos in page protectors as they were looking at elaborate scrapbook pages that took hours to complete (not that there's anything wrong with creating elaborate scrapbook pages, right?!).
Amber's vision with the Life Documented collection has evolved over the years from pre-designed elements intended to simply be trimmed and inserted, along with your photos, into divided page protectors, to expand to include an assortment of scrapbooking products and embellishments, 4x6 and 3x4 pads, leather albums, SN@P! Binders, Pocket Pages and more - all focused around the concept of documenting your LIFE, in a way that works for YOU.
Over time, that original Life Documented collection that launched 4 years ago in 2009, has evolved into something like this -
An entire suite of products designed to meet your needs, regardless of your personal scrapbooking and paper crafting style.
The Life Documented philosophy is simple! And that's just what it is - a philosophy.
Life Documented is a philosophy of sharing your memories in a quick, simple and meaningful way.
Whether it's traditional scrapbooking, divided page protector scrapbooking, a photo a day, card making, home decor, etc - Simple Stories creates products that let YOU share your story, however YOU want. Everything we do is focused on making it easy, functional and FUN to document your life!
Maybe you're a long time Simple Stories fan or maybe you're just learning about us. Either way, I invite you to join us this month to learn more about our Life Documented philosophy and how you can shed the guilt that you carry as it relates to 'not being caught up' on documenting your life.
Be sure to check in again tomorrow - I'll be sharing more about the products that make up the Simple Stories lines and introducing a new Life Documented team of extremely talented ladies that will share their projects with you throughtout the month and show you different ways they incorporate this philospohy into their memory keeping, using our SN@P! Binders, 12x12 and 6x8 leather albums and our 12x12 and 6x8 Pocket Pages.
Better yet, enter your email address in the Blog Updates section to the top right of our blog and we'll send you an email each day when we post to the blog!
There's lots more in store this month, all leading up to the long-awaited availability of our leather albums and Pocket Pages in early July at your favorite retailers and online stores, so stay tuned!
And ever since Amber got me hooked to every single Collection, which came out. At the moment I enjoy Sn@p

This is not the 1st time you have heard me say this ... I LOVE your product! I love the designs, colors, themes ... your product just works! At one point I suggested you make small themed packs: sports, school grades, birthday - child and adult, Christmas etc. MAMBI's did it, but you could do it even better. I would love to have packs of 3X4 and 4X6 cards from every collection you have made. Put them in Michael's with your Snap products and watch them sell. Online shopping is wonderful, but so is quick availability. When you are in the midst of creating, you want that special product ... and that is what I think Simple Stories is ... special!

I've been a Simple Stories fan from the beginning. Your products are what pushed me into doing Project Life in 2012. I thought it would make it easier - and it did. I love the versatility of being able to document life easily, yet also create great layouts!

My first Simple Stories collection was 100 Days of Summer and from there I was hooked! I started searching for whatever collections prior to 100 Days of Summer that I could find and needless to say, every new collection that has been released ever since. I can't even say which collection is my favorite coz I just LOVE ALL of them. Definitely looking forward to seeing what you guys have instored for us.

Amazing products and so fun to use. I'm new to this type of scrapbooking and am getting the hang of it now. Fun, easier to do and quick. Thanks.

I am such a huge Simple Stories fan and MUST have every item in every collection or I develop anxiety - LOL! What I especially love is the ease with which all the collections work together. I have used parts and peices from several to customize exactly what I wanted for my layout or card. I recommend Simple Stories to everyone I know and I was hooked from the very first Life Documented introduction to this awesome company. I pushed until one of my best friends who owns a LSS agreed to carry the collections and now many of her other customers are hooked, too. Thanks for everything you have created and made available for this storytelling passion of mine!!!

I really hope at some point Simple Stories will also make a post-bound album option. :D I love everything about Simple Stories (including your new 12x12 albums!), BUT I don't like having the "gap" between my layouts that is there with the D-ring albums.

Your products are sooo much fun! I am currently using the 24/seven collection in my project life and I am also in the middle of making a mini year in review with the Sn@p collection..:)

Love the colours and the designs of the poker pages.

I love to use your bright and colourful designs because they make my photos pop and now my layouts are so quick and easy; just diminished my stockpile of unfinished projects simply by adding Simple Stories Sn@p cards and sayings. I'm a devotee, that's for sure.
