Happy 7th Anniversary, PageMaps! Donna here to remind you that the design team at Simple Stories is so excited to join PageMaps in its month-long celebration. All the party details can be found here.
Simple Stories participated in the "On The Border" challenge with Lynn Ghahary, where we had to use border designs on our project, along with this PageMaps sketch for inspiration.
Here is the layout I created based on the sketch above.
It is about my 4 year old son Nathan and his affectionately named, nabbers. That is what he calls his chopsticks. And yes, I happen to think this is hilarious! I don't know where he came up with that, but it is an appropriate name, don't you think?
Here is a close-up of the journaling and a smattering of embellishments. Something I have always loved about Simple Stories is how well all of the lines mix and match. In particular, the Sn@p embellishments are such great basics, they go with absolutely everything!
And for the first time I finally put the new stamps to use!
I love all these little sayings and the icons and the labels too. I know they will get lots of use now that I have busted them out of their packaging!
You too can participate in the challenges at PageMaps! If you use the sketch above you can enter for a chance to win a prize pack of Simple Stories' newest collection I {Heart} Summer. Find all the details HERE!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you will enter the challenge and good luck!

Love the sketch and the page you created. The stamps set is perfect. Wish I could buy everything I see all across the web.
