I have a good friend who will be moving soon and I wanted to give her something to show her how much I've appreciated her short friendship. I love the colors of the Elementary and 100 Days of Summer lines, especially when combined with white or black cardstock. The colors just pop!
I searched for a quote on Pinterest and sure enough, found on that fit our friendship perfectly. Punch a few butterflies, add a border of handwritten text combined with the mini alphabet stickers to highlight a few key words and voila! I have a personal gift so she'll always remember me. I had an extra butterfly so I made up a quick and easy card to tell her thanks for everything. I used similar elements as I have on my framed art, once you come up with an idea, there's no reason not to reuse it again. I love how very versatile the papers from Simple Stories are, they can work for nearly every occasion imaginable!
And just in case you can't read my handwriting either (I had to help my family decipher a few of the words...), here's what the quote says:
Each friend represents a world in us. A world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.
––Anais Nin
Wouldn't the framed art also make a cute card for a friend as well?

I must show my respect for your kindness in support of people that have the need for help on this one topic. Your personal commitment to getting the message along turned out to be extremely valuable and have continuously encouraged girls much like me to attain their aims. Your own helpful key points means a whole lot to me and a whole lot more to my mates. Regards; from everyone of us.
