Hello Simple Stories Fans! It's Ally, back with some cards today. As you all well know, the Simple Stories system is all about quick and easy, but absolutely beautiful, albums. The papers have so many pre-made and pre-measured designs that give you the perfect canvas for adding your photos and just slipping into various sized page protectors. But I'm a card maker at heart, and I'm here to tell you that the system is a great way to pump out some beautiful cards for any occasion.
My daughter is leaving for Montana for the WHOLE SUMMER in less than a week. :(... So, traveling and wishes for safe adventures are on my mind. What better way to wish her off than with some cute little cards from the Destinations line? One of my favorite pieces in each collection includes the sheet with the 3x4" flash cards. I love making cards in a 4"x5.25" or 4"x6" size and the flash cards are sized just right.
They are perfect left as is as I did with this card here:
Just pop up with some foam adhesive, add a strip of patterned paper and some border sticker behind the flash card and voila'.
Or, you can choose to use the little flash card as a canvas of sorts and dress it up and then mat onto your card base (and how perfect is it that the back of the flash card is a simple pattern so I don't feel bad about "wasting" the card on the back. I hate having to make those kinds of choices, don't you?
The house is sure going to feel empty next week without my daughter around. Which card should I send her off with to let her know how much I love her? Maybe, both...
Fabulous Cards Allison! I love them both - your daughter is going to be thrilled to get happy mail!

Hi Allison... I just happened upon your site this morning and immediately fell in love with the Simple Stories product line. Two questions for you - I see the wholesale option, but where does the average consumer find your products? I do own a business but would be interested in first taking a closer look as me, the scrapbooker. LOL Second, I noticed your daughter is headed to Montana... just out of curiosity, I'd love to hear where she's going and why since that's where I live!!
Looking forward to learning more about your corner of the scrapping world...
:) Kristin

Hi Kristin! So happy you've found us! Simple Stories products have just recently been making their way to local retailers and online stores (I know my favorite LSS here in AZ is carrying it - yay!). The best way to find the product is to email Jodi at sales@simple-stories.com . She'll be able to help you locate a retailer from whom you can make purchases, or to set you up with an account.
My daughter is heading to Montana to work as a horse wrangler on a ranch called Sweet Grass Ranch in Big Timber. She's very excited, but I'm very sad!

Thanks Ally! After I posted, it finally clicked with me that this is part of the Memoryworks line and that one of my friends is a consultant! Silly me...
Big Timber is only about two hours from where I live. I'm sure your daughter will love it - you should come to Montana and visit!! :)
Thanks for the quick response...

I cling on to listening to the news update lecture about getting boundless online grant applications so I have been looking around for the best site to get one. Could you advise me please, where could i acquire some?

You should participate in a contest for top-of-the-line blogs on the web. I'll suggest this web site!
