Hi, Layle with you here today!
Back again to chat December Daily. I shared some of my December Daily album here on the blog earlier this month. Today is the 18th and I'm happy to share that I'm keeping up!
I thought I'd share a few more of my December Daily pages today. If you'd like to check out my full album, you can see it here on my blog -
For Day 6 I included printouts of our sons' Christmas lists. Teenagers! Both lists were sent to me via text message :) I am in love with these Just the Basics pockets. I used one in my album here last year on the 25th to hold extra photos. They're the perfect size for adding photos, memorabilia, and yes - even printouts of text messages from our kids with their Christmas lists :)
For Day 7, we had some good friends over for a little 'holiday cheer' :) I used one of the December Documented Journal Pages for the base of the page, then added some bits & pieces from December Documented.
Our 16 year old son was headed to his school's Winter Formal that night, and my husband and I were headed to his company Christmas party. Managed to get this sweet photo of my son and I together before we headed out.
I used Kerri Bradford's December Additions: The Pages to cut the page from this December Documented Chalkboard Snowflake paper on my Silhouette, then added some rhinestones to the snowflake centers for a little more sparkle, and then a little journaling on the back with a December Documented brad.
Earlier this month I had the opportunity to participate in The Paperclipping Roundtable along with Ashli Oliver, Katie Scott, and Noell Hyman. The topic - daily scrapbooking in December and how the 4 of us each approach it. It was a super fun session; you can listen in here. Great ideas on different ways of scrapping over the holidays, and some laughs too! You'll have to listen in to see how okra and Elvis came into play in a discussion regarding scrapbooking in December....
So, if you're documenting December, how's it going?! If you need a little help getting caught up, check out this helfpul post by design team member Melissa Stinson; she's shared some great tips for getting caught up.
