Hello and happy weekend! The weekend definitely means there are GOOD THINGS AHEAD, right? A chance to spend time with my family is always good. Emily Pitts here today with a fun card I made with a few different Simple Stories lines. I love how they work together so seemlessly.
My card started with this great Viewfinder cut file for the Silhouette (or other computer based die cut machine) that you can download for free from Cocoa Daisy. I sized it to be about 5 inches and cut it from the Orange Strip/Map (#2921) from the Urban Traveler line, then I backed it with a slightly smaller circle cut from Grey Grid/Lattice (#3121) in the 24/7 line.
I then made the tag using the great alphabet stickers from the SN@P! line, they are the perfect size, don't you think?
The base of the card is the Cork/Ephemera paper (#3117) from 24/7 topped by a smaller square of Pack Your Bags (#2908) from Urban Traveler and the other side of the Orange Stripe/Map (#2921).
I assembled that as seen, then wrapped it with a few lengths of twine. I finished with some punched stars from the Snapshots (#3104) paper in Urban Traveler and a few randomly placed buttons. I used a label sticker from the SN@P! line as my greeating and I was done. Super easy and really fun results!
