In preparation for the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) Tradeshow this month, I was lucky enough to be asked to play with one of my favorite lines of all time - Sn@p! I was so excited when I heard that Simple Stories was going to be expanding this line at the show, I may have squealed out loud! As I've shared here on several occasions, Sn@p has been amazing to work with using the divided page protectors to document my weekly life in a fun, colorful way - kind of like I like to think I live! But for this round, I really wanted to take on some full-sized layouts.
One of my favorite characteristics of this line is its bright happy colors combined with pure white. I really wanted all the fun and color to pop on this layout, so I started with a plain, white background.
Secondly, I wanted the humor of this layout to stand out. So, I chose to mix and match all the colors of the alphabet sets from the Sn@p Alphas. I'm still rather amazed at how many titles I've been able to create with my single package of those little guys. Makes my frugal heart go pitter patter quite frankly.
I also wanted the fun of the patterns from the line to play a role in the layout, so I trimmed my background just a bit and layered a strip of the diagonally striped orange and white paper along the side. I love the asymmetry of the look!
Lastly, I embellished just a tiny bit with some gems and twine and wrote up my journaling. Voila! All done!
