Hi there!
Wow! I can't believe that our summer vacation has come to a close and my kiddos head back to school tomorrow! While I have thoroughly enjoyed spending these last 2 months with them 24/7 I must admit that I am looking forward to them going back to school, getting back into a regular routine again and having a house that stays clean for a few hours each day!!!
Plus I always look forward to the fall season because I love the coziness of the time of year and anything related to pumpkins just makes me smile! (especially pumpkin pie! :))
Speaking of the fall season, I decided a while back when I first had a glimpse of the Harvest Lane collection that I wanted to create something for my home. So when I pulled out my papers and embellishments last week I thought of creating a wreath for my front door. I know many of you have created one of these darling projects before but I haven't created one yet so I thought I'd give it a go.
I decided that I would make my wreath using accordian styled flowers. I cut 2 different widths of paper (1" x 12" and 1 1/2" x 12"). I scored lines every 1/4" all across the strip of paper and then began folding each piece accordian style.
I adhered the ends together ....
... and then pushed it down to create the flower shape. I adhered it in the center with a glue dot (you can also use a glue gun - just be careful to not burn your fingers!) .
Then I adhered a punched circle shape overtop (actualy the bottom of my flower). I added another punched circle shape, some scalloped circles, some with different sized circles doubled up onto the top/fronts of each flower shape. I embellished the tops with buttons & decorative brads.
After creating all the flowers I adhered them to a circle that I cut from cardstock. This can be any size you wish depending on how ambitious you are with all those accordian flowers. (my finished wreath measures approx. 11 1/2" x 11 1/2")
Here's a few close up shots.
I added a few stickers here & there from both of the stickers sheets.
The "Harvest Memories" banner that I placed as my title is actually from the 6x6 paper pad. The smaller scaled version of the 2x12 Border and 4x12 Title Strip Elements was perfect for my wreath.
Here's a look at my finished wreath that will grace my front door this fall season.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that you've been inspired by my little creation.

Thank you for sharing these types of wonderful content. In addition, the perfect travel in addition to medical insurance strategy can often eliminate those concerns that come with touring abroad. A medical crisis can before long become extremely expensive and that's likely to quickly decide to put a financial load on the family finances. Having in place the ideal travel insurance package prior to setting off is worth the time and effort. Thank you
