Hello again! It's Gail here again to share some scrapbooking inspiration! I know most of you are entering fall and saying goodbye to summer, but down here in Australia, we are getting ready to say hello to Summer! So I couldn't resist sneaking in another Summer Fresh layout, amongst some of the fall projects you've been seeing the past week.
This is the first layout of many I intend to create about a little holiday we had earlier in the year. So for this page, I printed my photo HUGE and added a few clusters of embellishments, and not much journaling for once!
Creating embellishment clusters is easy peasy with Simple Stories! From all the little 'bits' you can cut out of the papers to the awesome sticker sheets, it's simply a matter of layering, and I usually like to add a tiny bit of texture amongst the layers as well. I do this with ribbon, twine or plain old paper doilies such as in this layout.
And of course, pop dots or foam mounting tape is your best friend when creating clusters! I like to add dimension by raising some of the elements - especially the stickers!
I also like to bend, twist and shape some sticker elements (such as the banner in the photo above). When it comes to creating clusters, Simple Stories sticker sheets are essential!
Thanks for visiting the blog today! You may now continue to celebrate fall! Laugh!
