Hi there!
I am in love with the new Summer Fresh collection! (and as you can see from the posts recently our entire team is feeling the same way!)
When I looked through the entire collection of papers, stickers and various Elements I was quickly inspired by the 4x6 Vertical Journaling Card Elements.
Today I want to share with you just how simple it is to create a set of beautiful cards using a single sheet of white cardstock and this 4.x6 patterned sheet ... as well as a few stickers from the same collection.
My first card I cut a 8" x 6" piece of white cardstock, folded it in half to create a 4" x 6" card. Then I trimmed the 4x6 journaling card (with the denim pocket) and adhered that to the front of the card. At this point the card looked great already, I thought. But I added a few stickers: the denim scalloped strip sticker across the top of the card, the word strip "what a wonderful day" and some flower stickers were adhered using pop dots for added dimension.
I decided to make this one a birthday card so I added a few alphabet stickers on the inside.
For my second card I used another 8" x 6" piece of white cardstock and folded it in half to create a 4" x 6" card. I cut out the 4x6 journaling card with the burlap pennant and red checkered background. I adhered this to the front of the white card.
I then took the balloon sticker and adhered it to the center of the card using foam squares. I tied a piece of red twine around the lower portion for some visual and textural interest. I added a little flower sticker with foam squares and a word strip sticker. This card will be a great vacation/bon voyage kind of card.
For my third card I decided to make an anniversary card for my folks. I simply used the last bit of my white cardstock (which was a 4" x 12" piece) and folded it in half forming a 6" x 4" card. I cut out another 4x6 journaling card and adhered it to the front of the card.
I added alphabet stickers to create the sentiment and some other stickers as embellishments.
I was thrilled with how quickly this adorable little card set came together! Thanks Simple Stories for making it so easy ... and SIMPLE!

obviously like your web-site but you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth nevertheless I’ll surely come back again.
