Simple Introductions: Meet Emily Pitts

We are excited to introduce to you today Emily Pitts.  Emily has been a great support to Simple Stories as a design team member in 2011. Emily's colorful and happy designs are a great match for Simple Stories products. We are so happy to have her join us again this year on our layouts and cards team!

I simply am....                blessed

I simply think....             arugula is the best thing to happen to salads. Ever. I need to plant some in my garden this year.

I simply wonder....         what's next, I'm feeling like I'm at a crossroad in my life.

I simply want....              a house that looks like my board on Pinterest.

I simply save....              BoxTops, even though my kids aren't collecting them anymore!

I simply can't....              can't keep my scraproom tidy, but i try.

I simply must....              get some mango pink nail polish and new running shoes.

I simply wish....               I could do it all, but have to keep reminding myself I need to be realistic

I simply love....                where I am right now

I simply scrap....             in the mornings when my family is at work and school and the house is quiet.

• Emily is a wife and mom of two great kids. She teaches piano, jogs but mostly walks and likes thai food!
• Emily loves layouts but cards are quickly winning over her heart! She loves to hand cut her titles - it allows her to go BIG!
  
• In describing her style Emily says she is graphic with a touch of messy whimsy.
• Emily loves how she can use Simple Stories products and mix and match them for any project she is creating. She also loves orange and Simple Stories does orange like no other!

• Yuki is a stay at home mom who resides in Japan.
• When asked what her favorite form of paper crafting is Yuki states "I Love it All" but if she had to choose she would choose mini ablums!
• Yuki loves to share her ideas! Especially when it comes to stamps, ink and paint techniques.
• Yuki loves Simple Stories and is excited to work with our new 6x8 Album collection!

Today we introduce you to Melissa Phillips. Melissa's shabby homespun style, soft touches and beautiful photography will be a fabulous edition to our layouts and cards team for 2012!

I simply am....                 happy, thankful, quiet, timid, and quirky.

I simply think....               life is a gift meant to be enjoyed and treasured.

I simply wonder....          why I can’t play with paper all day long every day.

I simply want....               a Café Rio closer than 2 hours away so I can get a Beef Mexican Salad fix whenever I need one.

I simply save.....              far too many paper scraps, snippets of trim, empty paper towel rolls, and mismatched socks.

I simply can't....               give up Coca Cola!

I simply must....               go out into the sunshine early each day for a run.

I simply wish....                I could live in Idaho with a view of the Tetons right off my front porch.

I simply love....                 baking cookies, road trips, Yellowstone, cook outs, warm socks, fresh laundry, clean sheets, glitter, a nap before bed, my little girl’s cheeks, my husband’s bear hugs, Chex mix, cinnamon bears, a clean house, old barns, farmlands, lilacs, a wreath on my front door, spring and fall, buttons, watching my little one sleep, and a warm fire.

I simply scrap....             from my heart, with someone special in mind, to express myself, to show gratitude, and because it makes me happy.

• Melissa is a wife and mother to a beautiful daughter who resides in southern Nevada.
• Melissa enjoys spending time with her family hunting, fishing, horseback riding and traveling.
• In descirbing her scrapbooking style Melissa says it is shabby, worn, weathered, layered, loved, comfy and homespun!

• Kellie is not only a scrapbooker and altered art master she is also a volunteer fire fighter in her community!
• Simple Stories is the first design team application Kellie has ever filled out and submitted! We are so happy she did!

Today we are thrilled to introduce to you Donna Jannuzzi.  Donna's clean and classic designs will be a wonderful edition to our layout and cards team for 2012!

I simply am....             honored to be a part of the 2012 Simple Stories Design Team.  I think it’s going to be a great year, and I’m so excited to get to be a part of it!

I simply think....          all the time.  I have a difficult time turning my brain off.  Lists are my friend since they help me keep track of everything I have to do, or want to do.

I simply wonder....     what my boys will be like when they get older.  I love watching them grow and seeing the people they are becoming.

I simply want....         for nothing.  I have everything I need and more.

I simply save....         very little.  I don’t like clutter and I try to get rid of objects that I don’t need or love - not always successfully mind you!

I simply can't....         eat raw onions.  blech!

I simply must....         have coffee in the morning, even if it has to be decaf for the time being.

I simply wish....         for a simple life and a happy home.

I simply love....          so many things… my husband and our boys, of course.  But the little things in life that bring us joy are important too, like new scrapbooking supplies, a good cup of coffee, a new book, chocolate!  I could go on and on. 

I simply scrap....       because I love it; it makes me happy.  I love recording our family’s memories and preserving both the big and small details of life that might otherwise be forgotten.

• Donna is a very busy wife and stay at home mom of 3 boys (one of which is brand new)!
• Donna loves to scrapbook her own memories and also share her talents through sketches and design ideas!

I simply am....             honest, organized (or try to be), creative, sentimental and grateful.  

I simply think....           that scrapbookers have a different view of life - we’re all about celebrating the everyday, whatever it may bring!

I simply wonder....      if my house will ever be totally organized and tidy again! I think my occupation should read “toy pick-upper”.

I simply want....          to go to CHA one day . . . it’s a long way to go for me but I will do it!

I simply save....         my sanity with this creative outlet! Mummy’s much calmer when she’s had a dose of creativity!

I simply can't.....        have unfinished projects lying around – I finish a layout before starting on the next.

I simply must.....        have a diet coke beside me while I scrap!

I simply wish.....        my babies would stop growing up so fast! Seriously!

I simply love....          cookie dough . . . mmmm!

I simply scrap....        with passion, with love, with enthusiasm - the same as the day I first started scrapbooking 12 years ago.

Today we introduce to you Allison Landy.  We Welcome Ally back from our 2011 design team! Alli's eclectic and artistic style will add so much to our Layout and Cards team for 2012!

I simply am....             a thinker and doer

I simply think....           way too often

I simply wonder....      way too little

I simply want....           to be called Dr. Ally

I simply save....          any and all animals I find (this has included a fawn from a fox while out on a photo shoot once)

I simply can't....           find enough time in the day.

I simply must.....          stay up to date with The Vampire Diaries

I simply wish....           some of life’s transitions would pass more quickly

I simply love....            my dogs Sweetness and Boone… oh, and I suppose I should mention the kids too… Ryan, 24 and Taylor, 21

I simply scrap....         completely and totally for my own creative enjoyment. I used to scrap for my family, but after 2500 layouts, I think I’ve done enough for them.

• Ally is a very busy part time university faculty member and a full time doctoral candidate!
• The outdoors is one of Ally's favorite places - she is a proud mom of two grown children and an animal lover.
• Ally's describes her scrapbooking style as "photo centric" she says she is willing to try any type of style as long as her photo takes center stage!

I simply think....           the world has become a lot smaller through technology and is better for it.

I simply wonder....      why there are only 24 hours in a day.

I simply want....           to clone myself - well not really, but still…

I simply save....           my pennies to buy adhesive...

I simply can't....           do without caffeine!

I simply must....           have pop dots or foam tape.

I simply wish....           that glitter was outlawed in scrapbooking, unless it is the responsible kind that does not come off on you.

I simply love....           stickers and things that don’t need to dry.

I simply scrap....         what I fancy at the moment.

I simply think....              way too much about too many things.

I simply wonder....         what life will be like in the year 2999.

I simply want....              my family and friends to be happy and healthy.

I simply save....             A LOT of junk because I am a bit of a pack rat!

I simply can't....             make it through a day without internet or coffee.

I simply must....             stay organized otherwise I start to go a little nuts.

I simply wish.....             I had Mary Poppins powers to clean the house.

I simply love....              being outside, spending summers with the kids, reading fiction, watching movies, going to the gym for step and yoga, and every HBO series ever made.

I simply scrap....            my family’s everyday life.

• Rebecca is a scrapbooker, crafter and stay at home mom of 2 who loves to read and learn.
  
• Rebecca's writing talents have gotten her into and through law school! She is a self taught photographer who uses her ever evolving skills every chance she gets!
• "I usually think of my style as clean and simple" states Rebecca. Her creations focus on the photo and journaling and also include techniques such as misting and sewing while always keeping it fun.
