Hello Simple Stories friends! Emily here, typing this from my room at CHA in Anaheim. It's been a very busy show, lots of great new products out there! I'm working the Maya Road booth and keep hearing great things about Simple Stories, makes me proud to be a part of such a great company.
I wanted to share one of my booth layouts with you today. I used Pinterest for every layout I worked on, some turned out quite literal, others ended up with just a hint of the original piece. I found this pin from lovelystationary.com and although I'm not a huge fan of hexagons, I fell in love with the look of the design. I think it's actually a bunch of buisness cards laid out as examples, but I thought it would make a great layout. When I got my box of Simple Stories products, I knew I wanted to use as many of the papers from the Fabulous line as I could and this design worked so well with that plan. I made a template and traced the shapes, then cut them out and arranged as shown. The photo turned out to be the perfect one for this template too! Bonus!

Here's what I ended up with, I left a couple of the hexagons out so there'd be some resting places for the eye and a place to add a tiny bit of journaling. I love how it turned out. I loved both layouts I did with the Fabulous line, I share the other one later this month.

I am always inspired by pinterest and I've made some homemade hexagons with templates on layouts based on stuff I've seen on pinterest; I think I've already repinned your layout on my "hexagons" board - seriously cute.

When I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a remark is added I get four emails with the identical comment. Is there any way you may take away me from that service? Thanks!
