Hiya All! Wendy here with my December Daily share for days 1-16. On a side note before I start sharing it up, I had printer issues (aka it died & went to printer heaven) with my "wingman/wingwoman (if you are into being all PC)" (aka Epson PictureMate). So, I'm still a bit picture-less in catchup to print my batch of photos for now but my new printer arrived on Friday. Rest assured, I'm working up printing all the daily pics I've snapped for these days to show up later this month.
However, LOTS of pages & details to share up with you for my Days 1-16! I'm lovin' the collaboration of Simple Stories with Maya Road, a beautiful "marriage", just sayin', for last week's blog event. Maya Road was very generous with us on the Simple Stories design team, so I have lots more Maya Road to work up in my Daily. The "official" blog swap week with them has ended but you will find LOTS of Maya Road shared up in my Daily. Their product is always so inspiring to me!
I decided to take a different "twist" on my Daily and use the majority of Year.o.graphy collection with a pop of 25 Days of Christmas splashed through the mini as well. I had lots of scraps from a previous project using 25 Days and these scraps were used a bit in this project. Also, I didn't really focus much on Xmas details in my pics either (because not much happens in my apt being me, myself, and I at home). So, my Daily is mostly just the random daily over 25 days this month. I'm really into details, as my style, and as you will see on the pages, so I played this up with my book as well (and sharing up close up shots for a better look for ya').
So, let's begin this journey with my December Daily....
Okkkk, along with the text paper, I also love love this chevron pattern paper in Year.o.graphy too. I confess. Here I embellished it up further with stamping, mist, and circle punches used to punch out elements in the different papers in Year.o.graphy.
The mini calendars on one of the papers in Year.o.graphy are the perfect elements to add into a mini. Here I used the "2" sticker mounted on a pop dot to accent the day 2.
How about "fussy cutting" a title? Yeppers. I did this patiently (keyword) and mounted on pop dots for a bit of dimension and threw in some blingy letters for sparkle & flair.
Check out the transparency filmstrip! FUN stuff, eh? That would be some Maya Road love! I layered some stamping under the transparency along with the perfet ticket stub stickers from 25 Days of Christmas.
Day 5 is on the flip side.
Again, need I remind that I swoon over text paper? This red one is from 25 Days of Christmas.
I think this is my favorite page so far in the Daily. I buckle in the knees over these resin flowers from Maya Road. to.die.for....just sayin'. I accented further with punched out circles from scraps of 25 Days of Christmas. I can't wait to add some pics to this page!
Cut out matching elements to mount on pop dots for dimension to the layer underneath. Make the page pop!
Of course, I had to go there...PAINT. Tweaked & played a bit here with mist & paint, love this effect!
Also, you will notice on the tabs throughout the mini, I used the tiny letters from the alpha sticker sheets from Year.o.graphy. You get 3 color choices & a slew of alphas on the sticker sheets.
Gotta' make some pages for all the homemade baked goodies (be sure to count the calories too)! I'm lovin' these pages in the Daily too!
Days 15 - 16 (on the flip side) you'll see next week.
Lovin' my Daily so far?
Then, come back next Thursday where I'll share up Days 17-24. Also, I'll share up my full supply list for ya' as well.
So, tell me, how far along are you on your December Daily albums?
