Simple Stories + Circles = Total Inspiration
We're going in circles with today's Simple Sightings post! I love searching our facebook fan page, emails, message boards, blogs and google for all things Simple Stories. In these searches I find incredible - and I mean INCREDIBLE - works for art from customers just like YOU using our Simple Stories products. Simply put - we are constantly amazed with the projects that our customers create using our products. THANK YOU for inspiring us and creating fabulous projects with these collections. You'll find that today's Simple Sightings post is no exception - truly amazing works of art using the inspiration of one basic shape....CIRCLES! Who would have thought that circles could be so amazing and inspiring...but you've got to check out what some very talented scrapbookers have created using the simple circle shape as inspiration...hopefully you'll be inspired to incorporate circles and Simple Stories into your own works of art! So...let's here it for CIRCLES!
Simple Sighting - Nicole Dorion
Nicole Doiron posted this darling 2-page 12x12 layout to our facebook page that she created for a fun celebration challenge on the Paper Variety blog. I love how Nicole mixed both the Happy Day and 100 Days of Summer collection into her layout - using the cricular balloons as a focal accent to the page...and did you notice the larger circles as a subtle background. Love the look and combination of it all...not to mention the wonderful layering that's going on! Great job Nicole!
Simple Sighting - Linda Auclair
We LOVE Linda Auclair's creations! Linda has become a regular "poster" on our facebook fan page, sharing her fabulous Simple Stories creations on a regular basis. It's always fun to see what Linda's going to create next with our products - it's always fantastic. Her latest creation features our very popular 100 Days of Summer collection using our Hello Sunshine paper, with a variety of patterned circles as a backdrop to the page. I simply love the little accents she added to the circles - see the buttons, brads, twine and flowers? So very clever Linda - thanks for sharing your talents with us!
Simple Sighting - My Creative Scrapbooks Design Team
These next layouts are simply A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! Instead of featuring just one scrapbooker...we're highlighting an entire design team. And how could we not...the entire design team at My Creative Scrapbooks hit a home run with their designs....just check out their creations that feature circles, circles and more circles! Seriously you MUST check out their entire Design team gallery - inspiring! A big huge KUDOS to Sarah, Angel, Jolaine, Amanda, Zoe, Kerry and the entire team who knocked it out of the park with their designs!
(Love this project that Jolaine created with a large circle as the backdrop - it makes a perfect showcase for a focal photo and oodles of layered elements!)
(Guest designer Zoe used our 100 Days of Summer circles in a very creative way by framing a large focal photo in the center - we love the scallop look the patterned circles make!)
(More 100 Days of Summer circles, but Sarah added her own twist to our circles by adding stitching to create a grid - LOVE!)
(Guest designer Kerry created little clusters with elements and journaling strips with our circles!)
(Here's another layout from Sarah using the 100 Days of Summer circles as elements.)
(Although not technically a circle, this technique by Angel is so inspiring - and it could be used to create any shape including a circle!)
Simple Sighting - Scrapbook Circle Design Team
Again, we're highlighting an entire team of fantastic designers who have created inspiring and fun projects with a common theme and source of inspiration: Circles, of course! Diana, Jennie, Rebecca, Nicole, Diane and Elizabeth from the Scrapbook Circle design team all created fantastic projects using our 100 Days of Summer circle paper and patterns. Way to go Scrapbook Circle girls!
(Nicole Nowosod's layout is so, so, so FUN! I love how she sewed on the hand-cut circles to give her layout that pieced, layered homespun feel!)
(How cool is this layout by Elizabeth Carney. Misting cirles and mixing them up with patterned circles- how fun!)
(Diana Waite added some fun touches and elements to her circles.)
(I love the repetitive patterns and scalloped shapes on this page by Elizabeth Carney - plus circle photos of her dogs to match!)
(Diane Payne takes a different spin with her sewn circles by creating lines of stitching and circles - and a few added embellishments for that something special!)
(Another fun take with sewn circles by Rebecca Keppel - adding in some fun whimsical stitching and a few sqaures of decorative tape and journaling ! LOVE!!)
Thanks to all these wonderful, talented scrapbookers who have created some pretty creative and inspiring projects using Simple Stories and circles as their inspiration! Keep sharing your amazing projects with us so we can share them in our next Simple Sightings segment!
